I have been taking photographs since the early 1980s. Since then I have been shooting a lot of film, and in the last few years have moved to the digital format.
My aim is to produce memorable landscape images with strong use of colours and textures. Some of my landscapes, especially the images of beaches, have been described as having a 'fine art' quality to them.
If I can capture a sense of energy and drama in the images, particularly in the Coastlines and Countryside sections, then so much the better.

I live in London but travel extensively, and have been particularly influenced by the stunning beauty of the Luberon in France, the English coastline, the Scottish highlands and Morocco.
I use either a Nikon D3X or D80, various Nikkor lenses, assorted Lee filters and polarisers, and a Manfrotto tripod, with the absolute minimum use of post-production software enhancement.
